This week I was asked about making words appear an This week I was asked about making words appear and disappear on Reels. It’s worth learning how to do it - the movement holds people’s attention and keeps them watching. So I’ve recorded a quick tutorial. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like more guidance. Once you’ve created your Reel add the 1st words you want to appear. Press Done (top right) and the words will also appear in a black bubble at the bottom. Tap on the black bubble and it’ll go white. Now you can manipulate the timing using the slider bar beneath. Drag in from the left to show Instagram when the words need to appear. Drag in from the right to show Instagram when the words need to disappear. Repeat with your next set of words. NB you’re not limited to 2 sets of words! Just keep repeating the process. This works for Gifs appearing and disappearing too. Sorry my intro isn’t captioned, Insta just wouldn’t play ball. Today’s the day to embrace @sherylsandberg’s “done is better than perfect” quote!
